Need access to property or an API which can return XU pool size/Thread pool being used on given runtime container at any given time.

Why is it Useful ??

By monitoring thread pool size and resource usage, you can identify the upcoming issues and optimize performance. This helps in ensuring that the system is neither underutilized nor overwhelmed. It allows for better management of system resources, preventing issues like memory leaks, excessive context switching, and resource thrashing. Visibility into these metrics helps in scaling applications efficiently. We can adjust the thread pool size based on the workload, ensuring that the system can handle varying loads without degradation in performance. When issues arise, having access to these metrics can significantly speed up the troubleshooting process by pinpointing the exact cause of the problem.

Who would benefit from it ??

Developers , System Administrator, Scalability and Operations Team, Business stakeholders are benefitted from this.

How is it useful ??

Create dashboards that offer real-time insights into thread pool sizes and resource usage and utilize tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or custom-built solutions for this purpose. Establish alerts for critical thresholds; for instance, if the thread pool is approaching its maximum capacity or if resource usage spikes, notify the relevant teams. Preserve historical data to track trends over time, aiding in informed decisions regarding scaling and resource allocation.
