Support Dynatrace in CP4BA 24.x

Dynatrace is the standard monitoring tool used across all teams at RBC. We have been leveraging it in previous version of CP4BA as well. There are many upstream calls made before our RuleApps are called in ODM and Dynatrace allows us to get a wholistic view.

    Hi,

We have not yet tested our Dynatrace in CP4BA 24.0.3.

On Feb 05, 2025, 15:35 Todd (IBM) left the following comment on TS018041013:

    Hi Aleema,

Dynatrace is not officially supported by CP4BA and any fix we provide will not change that statement.

If you can get it working with the the workaround we are providing then that is good for you although that doesn't guarantee that it will work in future versions or other scenarios. So I would recommend you open an RFE to get that tool officially supported by CP4BA in the future if it is important to you.

I cannot give definitive information on future fixes but this should be included in the next IFix for 24.0.0 that is expected to be IFix 5. It is a couple months away before that is released.

    Hello,

Have you tried using Dynatrace with CP4BA 24.x ? If so, is there a technical issue or related Support ticket ?

Dynatrace is not officially tested and supported by IBM, but since it's working with a previous version of CP4BA, I'm wondering if there is a new issue.

Also, the Support ticket mentioned in this Idea doesn't seem related to the Idea. Please clarify.

    Thank you
