Adding "extra signers" using the built-in DocuSign Plugin

The feedback from the field was that many customers like the DocuSign plugin. But currently our implementation offers only the access to static templates that are assigned to the user that is requesting a document to be signed. This means they have to define the static signing template in docusign first and add their the recipients and signers prior to the signature request. This is fine for a static document signing flow. But the majority want's to add "extra signers" in the navigator plugin UI of docusign usign their name and email adress. Current implementation does not allow this. The customer must go back to Docusign webpage, modify the existing template and retrigger the document signing feature.

Looking in the docusign API it is possible https://developers.docusign.com/docs/esign-rest-api/reference/templates/templates/update/.

Since we integrated the docusign plugin as a product it is no more available as standalone customizable plugin in our public github. So we need to request this via ideas.

Thank you!

I also strongly support this idea,  A lot of customer are dealing with signed documents and it should be provided by default for ICN

We strongly support this idea, the fact that we are able to use docusign as a plugin for our document management system is great and brings so much more value to the IBM application. But having to go back and update the template everytime we need to change the participants is not practical at all – we do business with so many partners and being able to add the particiants „on the fly“ would make business so much easier for us. Please implement the feature „extras signers“. Greetings Kurt Mc Leod - LHI Leasing GmbH
