S3 Integration

Configuring S3 bucket as a storage device requires S3 AccessKey and ID to be configured in the wizard. Having static password leads to data at risk.

In AWS, S3 can be accessed either by using the accesskey or by using role based authentication. In role based authentication EC2 role will be given access to S3 bucket by which any application running in that EC2 will have access to S3 and no specific AccessKey and ID is required for connecting to S3

    We also have this requirement to use S3 bucket as advanced storage area and use it with 'role-based' access from EC2 or Kubernetes Pod. As per our corporate security controls in zero-trust posture, S3 Access Key and SecretKey is not allowed. Even if allowed, the keys need to be rotated every 30 days, which is going to be an operational risk.
