More granular permission management

The current functionality does not allow a user to select only the operation to be published without granting access to targets, servers, and the administration tab. Currently, the only way to enable a user to select an operation is by assigning them the rtsConfigManager role, which provides broader access than required. The proposal is to implement more granular permission management, enabling more precise control over user actions.

Hello, I'm rejecting this Idea for now. There needs to be a broader discussion with the customer on decision management and governance.

    Hello,

If the goal is to have some sort of 'configurable' deployment configuration so that a regular rtsUser can still select the operation to deploy, then I confirm it's not available.

But I'm questioning the use case here: do regular users create decision operations frequently? Why can't power users create the right deployment configurations for the regular users ?

We'll probably need a live session to further discuss this topic

    Regards,

    Hello,

I don't understand the request and the limitation being described. A power user (admin or config manager) can setup a deployment configuration so that regular users (rtsUser) can use that deployment configuration and perform ruleApp deployment to the server(s) defined in that deployment configuration. This is done by defining the authorized groups of users in the deployment configuration.

    Please clarify the request.
