Support IAM roles for S3 uploads

Today, uploading files to S3 only works with static AWS Access Key + Secret Key credentials (plus the bucket). This forces customers to create and share long-lived credentials, which is a security concern and doesn't fit how many AWS teams operate.

We should add authentication options:

  • IAM roles: Let customers grant access via an assumed role instead of static keys. This is the AWS-recommended approach — credentials are temporary and rotated automatically, and nothing long-lived needs to be stored.

    Agree with this request and we can consider this enhancement for the future.

    Please note that AWS has recently changed their recommended approach, which before was the one we implemented. We will evaluate changing the approach into the new recommended one.
