Workflow Capability permit to work with ECM servers through the usage of the CMIS protocol.
We are building a CSHS interface that uses the coach view ECMFolderList.
Since our ECM is FileNet, we decided to hide some folder implementing the isHiddenContainer property on a folder as described in the documentation:
Hiding a folder - IBM Documentation
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/filenet-p8-platform/5.6.0?topic=folders-hiding-folder
We noticed that the folder it is correctly hidden if accessing the parent folder via IBM Content Navigator, but if accessing the same parent folder through the ECMFolderList we see the folder that should be hidden.
In a recent case opened, we have been informed that this is the normal behaviour, because the isHiddenContainer must be enforced by the viewer and not by the Content Platform Engine.
Also the CMIS server component, out of the box, it is not transmitting such property to the CMIS client.
It has been suggested that we coudl tailor the CMIS Query as:
SELECT * FROM cmis:folder WHERE parent = '{<Folder-id>}' AND isHiddenContainer = False
we would be able to force the CPE to just return the not hidden folders.
Unfortunately, the coach view ECMFolderList is the only ECM related coach views that it doesn't permit to set any filter.
So, we are asking to implement the possibility to apply a filter so that we can ensure that the hidden folders are not returned by the CPE at all.
In alternative, if not possible, any other way to being able to honor the isHiddenContainer property
