Make DNS resolution behavior configurable for FileNet P8 CPE directory configurations when using LDAPS

FileNet Content Platform Engine currently resolves configured LDAP/LDAPS hostnames into individual IP addresses when a DNS alias with multiple A records is used. This behavior is acceptable for standard LDAP failover scenarios, but it creates a limitation for LDAPS.

In LDAPS environments, server certificates are typically issued for DNS names, not for individual IP addresses. When CPE resolves the configured hostname and internally continues against the resolved IP addresses, SSL hostname validation fails, even though the original configured DNS alias is valid and the certificate CN/SAN matches that alias.

This results in the following limitation:
Standard LDAP may work with DNS aliases that resolve to multiple A records, but LDAPS does not work reliably in the same scenario.

Requested enhancement:
Please make the DNS resolution behavior configurable for FileNet P8 directory configurations, especially for LDAPS use cases.

Desired options would include:
Preserve and validate against the originally configured hostname instead of resolved IP addresses
Allow controlled handling of DNS aliases with multiple A records in LDAPS scenarios
Provide a supported configuration option for hostname-based validation in CPE directory configuration validation and runtime

The described product change is a very welcome change for us, as we use multiple LDAPS connections to ADLDS servers.
