Support connecting CPE on containers to CSS on VM (traditional)

CPE on containers can store all the business data outside of the cluster's PV, but not CSS: the indexes must be stored on a PVC.
Not all Kubernetes or OCP cluster provide persistent storage that can be used for business data, for various reasons: restrictions due to policies, or PV not part of a backup/DR plan, limitations on the amount of storage, etc.
In those cases, it would be useful to be able to deploy the FNCM Standalone components, CSS excepted, on Kubernetes/OCP, while CSS continue to run outside of the cluster, on a traditional VM.
This is technically working, and this is a situation that can occur with side-by-side deployments. The request is for IBM to officially support this architecture.
