Ability to perform a pre-check activity as part of the governance process app or independent to a governance process

  • As a blueprint editor, I want to be able to finish working with a blueprint and start a review process outside of BlueworksLive.

  • As an editor I want to finish editing a blueprint and have the ability to trigger an external system or application to cover approvals, validations, etc.


The current Governance Process App, freezes the blueprint and not additional edits are allowed, but the requirement is that if an external application requires to fix data or update metadata/properties, it can do it while the blueprint is in this "pre-check" state.

    Hi Hector, you are asking for a webhook type feature that triggers other applications when 'the work is finished' how would you define ' finished' in this context. for example once a blueprint as passed through the goverance workflow ( it is a snap shot at this stage and cannot be edited ) it is already completed ie a ' published' state. If we defined a state ' before' publishing ie triggering a standard workflow' which could be customised to contian the webhooks to external systems, (think of this as a 'precheck' before publish request) would this work as a solution? Please let us know

    • As an Editor, when the work is finished, a mechanism should be available to call an external application or service

    • The blueprint should be in a lock state similar to the Governance App, but not freeze as the Third party application may add/update metadata of the bluprint. Update to the blueprint should be allowed during the "pre-check" phase"
