Improve Process App Notifications

Improved email notifications. When launching "Work" through a process app, the notifications only work when a user has opted in to receive daily updates. If they have enabled these notifications it only notifies them if a task is upcoming or past due (and no notifications are provided if a due date is not submitted for the task).

I would like to be able to add standardized email templates to process apps to provide notifications to users who have upcoming/outstanding tasks which are governed by my process app and cannot be overridden by users personal settings.

Functionality very similar to this was described in your "help" section but I was informed that this feature is not available yet and that the knowledge article will be updated.

    Thanks for your request!

If we understand correctly, you have two requirements - (1) You want users to receive email notifications for upcoming/overdue tasks. They should not be able to opt out of these notifications. And (2) you would like an email template with customizable language for the notifications.

For (1), we agree that such notifications would be highly valuable. We'll add that enhancement to our product backlog for future consideration. We will likely provide an admin setting that controls whether or not users can opt out.
For (2), would you expect that the customized language would be specified once by an admin, and would then apply to all emails of that kind? Or would the customized language be provided at the time the process app is launched? We imagine the latter would be most flexible and most useful. Would you agree?
