Workflow Access

Our organization uses the workflow to route process maps to the Process Owners and Process Managers for approval. We use the approval as evidence for our risk and control assessments but only the people included in the approval flow can see the evidence.

Thanks for your request, Scott! We are considering a couple of different enhancements that would accommodate this, but have no timeframe for implementation at this point:
1- You would be able to create a User Group which contain the Control Office staff that needs to be able to review these workflows. You would be able to add this User Group to a workflow instance when you launch it as "informational only". Members of the User Group would receive notification of the Approval (if they have notifications enabled, they could receive email notifications). They could also go into Blueworks Live and view the completed instances that they had been added to as "informational only" participants.
2- We are also considering adding a new privilege to Space permissions that would allow users to view (but not launch) workflows in the space. You could grant your Control Office Staff this permission & they would be able to review all of the workflow instances.
Would one of these approached work better than the other for your requirements?
