HPE/Scality RING storage support with FileNet Image Services
Case number: TS006578461
FileNet Image Services (current version) on Solaris 11 with a remote Oracle 19c database
We are planning to migrate a storage platform for the FileNet/P8 app as follows:
From: Hitachi Content Platform (HCP) - REST API
To: HPE/Scality RING.
We need the FileNet Image Services application certified to be supported with a storage platform of "HPE/Scality RING".
We do not want to use any "gateway software" to connect to the Scality storage system.
We need to connect through the S3 REST API to store the documents in the back end storage that is a HPE/Scality RING storage system.

https://www.scality.com/sites/scality/files/2021-04/isv-compatibility-list.pdf
This will help to any customer who wants to use the standard S3 REST API to store the objects in the external storage system.
Migrating from Hitachi to Scality storage system will help to decommission the legacy storage of Hitachi.
Also, it will help to implement a modern technology of the Scality storage.
