Update of Rules Designer to work in latest versions of Eclipse IDE

IBM Support Case Reference: TS003381904

The latest available version of the ODM Rules designer (8.10.3) does not work with the current versions of the Eclipse IDE (4.14 or 4.15).

This is preventing our developers from updating their IDE environment to run on the latest versions and therefore exposing a security risk as they need to keep older versions of the IDE on their machines just for rules editing.

ODM 8.11 Rule Designer is based on Eclipse 4.16. macOS Big Sur is supported. I was also able to get it running on macOS Monterey but it's not yet officially supported

Hello, I received a new device with a new version of MAC OS(Monterey), and as you know eclipse oxygen is not being supported now, any plan to add support for current version of Eclipse IDE?
has been past more than a year since was posted this "idea". Thank you!

Thanks for your request. We understand that the version of Eclipse currently used in ODM is causing security concerns for you. For reasons of compatibility between updates of the 8.10.x release, we cannot provide an upgrade at this point. This is something we are considering for a future release (no committed plans yet).
