Extend BAL

In the BAL there are constructs for ‘there is at least one (object)' and ‘there is no (object)'. We quite often need the construct ‘every (object)' to check whether some conditions apply to every object in a set of objects. We now mostly use the complex to read ‘there is no (object) to which the conditions do not apply'.
But Business people want to read the positives and no double negative. This feature is already available in Insight! So there is a gap between RD and Insight that is causing confusion. I think this gap (that's more than just this feature) must be closed. But please start with this one, we are using it a lot!

Thank you for taking the time to suggest this enhancement to IBM Operational Decision Manager. Your request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap for IBM Automation Decision Services and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration. IBM Automation Decision Services (ADS), a next-generation intelligent automation service delivered as part of IBM Cloud Pak for Automation (https://www.ibm.com/cloud/cloud-pak-for-automation), provides an intuitive decision modeling environment where business experts can initiate projects that combine prescriptive business rules and predictive models.

We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.
If you have any additional feedback or thoughts, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation.
Please note: IBM's statements regarding its plans, directions, and intent are subject to change or withdrawal without notice at IBM's sole discretion.

    Sincerely,
    Antony Viaud
Offering manager, IBM Automation Decision Services
