Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas that cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Please use the following category to raise ideas for these offerings for all environments (traditional on premises, containers, on cloud):

Allow using external data sources in the ibm rpa dashboard
Today, in order to create a dashboard that presents relevant information, we need to create a process in the orchestrator and add the values to be used in the dashboard as variables, however, in cases where the orchestrator is not used (e.g. scheduled scripts) there are not many data sources with information about running the script.
An idea to get around this problem and still bring an interesting feature to the tool would be to make it possible to use external data sources, such as databases used by the robot.
When the tool was only SaaS I think it would be very difficult to bring a feature like this, but as we now have the On Premise version of IBM RPA, I imagine it is something more doable.

This will be handled by allowing tagging variables on any script, and making those variables available as data sources in the dashboard.
