Add Release Locks to ODM Decision Center REST API

Currently to "release locks" in the ODM business console a user must have Administrator privileges. If they are an Admin, then they can do anything. This is a violation of separation of duties. If the Release Lock action were available via the REST API, this issue could be resolved. I looked through the API documentation but didn't see a way to Release Locks. Please consider adding this functionality to the REST API in order to address this gap in separation of duties to address the compliance issue.

Hello, thank you for submitting this Idea.

But I don't understand how having a REST API would make a difference. Can you also mention the ODM version you're currently using ?

In ODM 8.12 (and 8.11.x I believe) any user can release the locks he/she has set on artifacts or folders. But only those locks.

An admin is needed in case a lock set by a user cannot be removed by that user (user unavailable for instance)

Please provide more details on your need. Thank you
