Ability to disable RES Console UI

In Production environments, customers have restrictions where any product console UI needs to be disabled. RES Console is the UI for the management of ruleapps and supports the RES runtime architecture which includes REST API, XUs management, etc.

The request is to allow users to disable the RES Console login page and RES UI and only keep all the underlying components accessible via REST APIs

    In the next ODM release targeted for early 2027, there will be a new setting to activate a "headless mode" for the RES Console UI. Headless mode hides the RES Console UI entirely. The application serves only a branded header page at /res/headless — no login, no navigation, no UI.
    All REST APIs on /res/api/* remain fully accessible.

    Will that setting respond to the request ?

    A short term workaround would be to implement URL filtering (reverse proxies, ...) to only keep /api working.
