Provide an equivalent Machine Learning Integration ability in ODM 9.0 & 9.5 to that currently found in ADS

The existing Machine Learning Integration ability in ODM v9.0 & v9.5 is deficient for our needs as it only supports models deployed into IBM Cloud Pak for Data.  We are looking to integrate both rules and model into a single decision management interface (ODM) for a number of our mission critical operational systems. The current model integration features available in ODM do not allow us to achieve this outcome. This is due to our existing and planned models are not/will not be deployed on the IBM CP4D platform.

Our current MLOps solutions consist of a bespoke custom application, Red Hat OpenShift AI and AWS SageMaker.  What these platforms all have in common is that models are deployed in containers, with a REST/API endpoint that is compatible with the OpenAPI standard.  We had previously asked Product Management to include support for OpenAPI based models in ODM; but it seems to have been added to ADS instead.  We do understand that this integration is somewhat easier in the ADS, but at this point and for the foreseeable future we a do not have any plans to intend to adopt ADS.

If ODM supports the integration and consumption of any model on any platform that supports the OpenAPI Standard it would allow us to move forward.  Alternatively, if support for Red Hat OpenShift AI and AWS SageMaker were supported that would provide a significant benefit to us.
