Decision Center does not have Rest API to Enforce Project Security

Currently, we use the following manual procedure to Enforce Project Security in Decision Center Console:

  • Login to Decision Center Console
  • Click on "Project Security" tab
  • Hover mouse over "Branch/Project" row
  • Click on "Pencil Icon"
  • New popup window opens with title "Edit Decision Service Security"
  • Under "Security", click "Security is not enforced for this decision service"
  • Select "Enforce Security"
  • Select a group who can access this decision service
  • Click "DONE"

Feature Request

We need to perform the above "Enforce Project Security" action by using Decision Center API.

Currently there is no Decision Center API available to perform the above action in order to Enforce Project Security.

    Hello,

The newly released ODM 9.5 includes additional REST API for Decision Center to manage project security. See https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/odm/9.5.0?topic=notes-whats-new :

The REST APIs include new security endpoints for decision service branches:

    • Groups: Provides a list of the groups that are associated with a branch.

    • Security (get): Shows the security on a branch.

    • Security (post): Enforces security on a branch.

    • securityInheritedFrom: Shows the security that a branch has inherited from another branch.
