Provide a curl batch deployment command for decision center deployment

In order to deploy in other places than directly to the res, (example maven artefactory/nexus repository) , it would be nice to have the ability to create a curl deployment command deployment tool in Decision Center.

The content of the command would be the responsability of the dc admin, but it would provide a way to deploy in another repository than the res.

The objective is to be able to use a ci/cd cycle when deploying from Decision Center to garantee a proper integration test phase.

    Hi
The objective is not to download but to let the business user directly deploy somewhere else than the RES. So this download command does not match the problem.

I better understand. Today, a business user can deploy a ruleApp and retrieve the archive. But that user then needs to drop the generated archive in the proper folder.

A customized deployment can be added to the Business Console through a small customization of the UI (see related sample for BC UI customization), with some Curl / REST code as an action behind a custom button or UI.

We may keep this Idea for Future consideration, but not with a high priority at first.

    Hi
the idea would be that Business Users can do that themselves in the Business Console.
Not some developers using RESt API.

    Hello,

can you clarify what you see as missing in the REST API to perform a deployment from DC ?

See for instance the 'download' command, http://localhost:9090/decisioncenter-api/swagger-ui/index.html#/Build/download
