Build technical capability to leverage similar features bundled with IBM BAW standalone containers with IBM FileNet Content Manager standalone containers OR any other CNCF based offerrings to optimize the various resources like shared ICN, UMS, FileNet CPE, CMIS with BAW
We already have standalone CNCF based FileNet Content Manager containerized deployment in our environment. There was a request to build additional capability around CASE with standalone CNCF based BAW by leveraging similar capabilities like FileNet CPE, UMS, ICN, CMIS etc. which is an enterprise wide practice in traditional on premise architecture. Refer to PMR TS010621916, we have come to know that leveraging capability with containerized deployments are not possible by technical design i.e. ICN,CMIS, UMS, FileNet CPE can not be used with BAW standalone containerized deployment instead BAW will use packaged capability which comes as package within standalone BAW installation. Similarly standalone FileNet Content Manager must use various capabilities with in package not beyond that.
Refer to above context, we feel that this is must need to leveraging capabilities to optimize various track within enterprise architecture. Customer/stakeholders need to purchase/invest more with redundant capabilities which must be optimized with better return of investment and results.
