The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notifications on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas that cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Intermediate Timer Events to use the attributes set in the BPD where the timer exists and not the parent BPD attributes
In our shop, we have several BPDs that are invoked as "Linked Process" from parent processes. Both parent and child BPDs have "Intermediate Timer Events" and these timers are designed to follow the respective attributes set under "Work Schedule" section. These timers did not work as intended when we were in V8.5.5. When we brought this issue back then, we were told by IBM that an upgrade of the product is required. So, we upgraded to V19.0.03, and tried to make use of the timers, and now we are told it is working as designed. We are now left with no option other than modifying our work flow processes to make use of the timer attributes set in the respective BPDs.

Why is it useful?
It is useful in giving us the flexibility to have linked processes wherever needed and let the components in the linked process use the attributes set in them.
