Request to view and change the business data for the linked and sub Processes scope via the Process Inspector

While trying to update the Data variables. We don't see all the data variables in the Process Inspector console. Like for example there is a field for EMails to be sent in the environment variable but this cant be seen under the Edit Data for this instance of the process application.

In particular, the issue is relating to the data being shown for a task of a running instances with a linked process which may be a contributing factor. The problem at hand is about the scope of the data we can view/edit.

Basically, there is a series of BPDs/tasks being run like this:

Original BPD
|
Linked BPD
|
Task Service
In Web Process Inspector, the shown data is for task is for the underlying service for the linked BPD being run. For the instance itself the data is showing the original BPD that is running the linked BPD. However, when we look in eclipse Process Inspector, we are seeing the linked BPD's data for that task. Hence to details the data we can see from the earlier diagram:

Original BPD -> Web/Eclipse Inspector Instance data
|
Linked BPD - > Eclipse Inspector task data
|
Task Service - > Web Inspector task data

Hence the question is, how can we see the data for the linked BPD that the task is running for (ie, the intermediate data between the task and the instance) in WebPD? Since the Process Servers are offline, using eclipse PD is not a potential workaround/solution (on top of the fact that it is currently depreciated).

Development team confirmed that for business data for the linked and sub Processes scope there are no ways that the data can be changed via the Process Inspector. In addition they double checked and there is also not a REST API method in order to edit the data on a Process Server as well. I was asked to open a RFE in order to implement the functionality.

Please take a look at the case TS003815541
