Ability to audit code changes in BAW.

We need to be able to trace
1. Who has changed the source code?
2. What time does the change occurred?
3. What has changed?
That means every change that is made in the source code must be linked to an individual.
This support does exist in Eclipse-Process Designer but as some of the artifacts in BAW isn't compatible with the Eclipse PD and the fact that Eclipse is deprecated, IBM must at least provide the same functionality in Web-Process Designer.
Even better if IBM provided the information required for this type of traceability, stored in an easy-to-read manner, every time the developer makes a “save” in Process Designer. The changes ought to be stored in the same way as if it had been a check-in of e.g. java code in a modern repository.

List of snapshots is available in WebPD in "View Exisiting Snapshot" button (top right). EclipsePD Revision History is not compatible with repository persistence of WebPD edits. Repository also considers unnamed snapshot as internal/temporary artifacts that should not be exposed. Revision History of DB artifacts does not correspond to edit history in WebPD, thus should not be exposed as is in eclipsePD.

The roadmap is to not implement revision history as in eclipse PD.

Instead, the plan is to someday implement auditing.

Currently there is a compare feature in Process Center two see what has changed between two snapshots.

But overall there is of course lack of visibility on what is going on. I am upvoting this and I will be happy to see some more features in this space. I do take advantage of the Smart folders such as "Changed Today", "Changed This Week", which helps get a cue of recent changes in the process app but overall a better way to see changes will help lead developers stay on top of day-to-day changes, and provide feedback, review comments easily.
