BAW generated DDL is not z/OS DB compliant

Issue #3 DDL format is not for DB2 z/OS: Source DDL generated doesn't conform

as required by standard DSNTEP2 (a program on mainframe- provided by

IBM with DB2) . If we had a custom DSNTEP2 that supported longer line

length that would alleviate the issue. IBM provides the source code for

the DSNTEP2 but no PL/1 compiler. Solution - update the program or fix

the source DDL generated by the BAW to conform to 72 byte lines lengths.

Thank you for submitting the idea ticket and could you please help us to clarify below queries :

    • Is the 72 byte lines lengths applicable to all SQLs or only store procedure?

    • Is it only because they use DSNTEP2? We use db2 command to execute the sql and we did not meet any problems.

Today 5/28/2020 we received this error when creating a new BAW 19 env.

here's a case where a literal is greater than 72 bytes

    INSERT INTO
    BPMT09SHAR.LSW_LOCK("LOCK_ID",
    "DESCRIPTION")
    VALUES ('LOG_ADD_LOCK_KEY' ,
'Lock required for adding logs to bpm_repository_log and updating timestamp in bpm_project_subscription')

This cased an error during the DDL execution.
