Application logging

We are currently developing process applications on BAW 21.x and BAW 24.x Traditional. More than 20 process applications from various departments run on this server, and more are constantly being added. When we use the standard logging method, namely log.info, the logs are written to SystemOut.log. Investigating problems by reading logs from sysout is not practical in our case because:

1) Too many files are generated because all process apps log to the same file. Logs are spread across multiple files.

2) Logs from different process applications end up in the same file. Some applications call the same toolkits/use the same toolkits, making log analysis difficult.

3) System logs are mixed with application-specific logs. Ideally, application logs should be printed to sysout. BAW administrators become frustrated when analyzing a performance problem.

Looking for an Out of the box functionality for logging that considers multiple input params such as process app acronym and write logs accordingly. Separate log file for each process app.
