Enable automatic opening of the next user task within the same process instance in Case Client / Navigator, so that users can continue working without returning to the in-basket and manually claiming the next task.

In Business Automation Workflow, when a user completes a task in Case Client (Navigator), they are redirected back to the in-basket and must manually locate and claim the next task, even when that task belongs to the same process instance and is intended for the same user. This interrupts the natural flow of work and introduces unnecessary steps.

The expected behavior is that when a user completes a task and the next task in the same process instance is immediately available and assigned to the same user (or can be deterministically assigned), the system should automatically open that next task. This would allow users to continue working within the same instance without needing to navigate back to the task list or perform additional claim actions.

Although similar behavior (on BPMN side) is referenced in Process Portal (https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/baw/23.0.x?topic=applications-automatically-starting-users-next-task), it is not supported in Case Client / Navigator, which creates an inconsistent user experience.

Existing features such as “Open Next Work Item,” “Open Next Work Item in Sequence,” or Get Next operate at the queue level and do not guarantee continuation within the same process instance. Along with the existing features, what is needed is instance-aware progression between tasks.
