Pre-delete dependency check and cleanup utility: API to detect and optionally remove blocking Manager / manager-task dependencies before snapshot delete

When deleting process snapshots in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), administrators often face failures caused by underlying Manager-task dependencies that are not visible in advance.
These dependencies are typically created as part of in-flight or long-running tasks and continue to reference the snapshot even after it’s retired.

Currently, BAW surfaces these issues only after a snapshot delete attempt, and the error message identifies one blocking task at a time, requiring repetitive manual cleanup using database queries or task completion commands. This makes the process slow, error-prone, and operationally expensive, especially in environments where hundreds of snapshots exist.

Proposed enhancement:
Introduce a pre-delete dependency validation and cleanup feature — available either as:

A REST API endpoint (e.g., /rest/bpm/snapshot/dependencies?snapshotId=...),

or a wsadmin / bmx command (e.g., BPMCheckAndCleanSnapshotDependencies).

The command/API should:

List all dependent tasks and objects referencing a given snapshot (with details such as task ID, state, creation time, and owner).

Optionally clean up these dependencies, by automatically completing or force-deleting obsolete task references.

Provide a dry-run mode to safely validate dependencies without modification.

Integrate easily into CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts, allowing proactive validation before BPMDeleteSnapshot.

This feature enables admins to proactively detect and remove dependencies in bulk, preventing delete failures, reducing downtime, and improving release automation reliability.
Teams can maintain cleaner environments without manually scanning through task tables or logs.
