It would be helpful to have the ability to access the case comment window and case property window simultaneously, enabling users to easily copy data from the case details page to the comment popup window.

When a user opens the comment pop-up window from the case details or work details page, they should be able to access the property widget or documents tab and seamlessly switch between them. This functionality would enable users to easily copy information from the case details page to the comment pop-up window.

Hello! With the clientside human service (CSHS) version of the case details page we added a few year back, the cusomizability of your case pages is much greater with much finer grain components (UI Views) to choose from. For the case comments UI View, we made it as an on page view that can also easily be wrapped in a modal view if you prefer the "dialog box" style UI.

Here is an example of the comments view on the main page (note the option to allow the comment's creator to edit/delete as well):

and here is the same comments view also wrapped in a modal and hooked to the comments button in the header:

Here is a BAW Community blog entry that talks about CSHS case pages. Note that you can mix and match classic widget pages and CSHS pages in the same case project, allowing you to transition at your own pace. Also note that the CSHS framework is the same one use to create task UIs for BA processes.
