IBM BAW to support DB schema name changes, as the current system only supports schema names matching the original, impacting our necessary DB refresh practice.

We are experiencing an issue with IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) related to the DB schema reference. Despite updating the database credentials in the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) console to the new username PRODICNDB, the system continues to reference the old schema UATICNDB, resulting in the ORA-00942: table or view does not exist error.

We raised a PMR (Problem Management Record) with IBM support regarding this issue. The response indicated that changes to the DB schema name are not supported in IBM BAW. Additionally, the support team stated that the DB schema name and username must remain consistent.

Upon reviewing the config.properties file as requested by IBM, we found that it still references the old schema name UATBPMDB instead of the new schema name PRODBPMDB. This discrepancy contributes to the ongoing issue.

    Hi Umair,

    Thanks for submitting the RFE. At this moment, changing the DB schema name is not supported as suggested by our support team. We will prioritize this feature based on our backlog and update this idea if and when we plan to include this feature in BAW.
