Make the FileNet local groups feature available on BAW.

The customer has hierarchy tasks created and distributed on FileNet that doesn’t replicate on BAW.

The idea is to import/use the existing local groups to have a better control of the users and roles.

In the case of an AD failure or expressive change, there is a risk of downtime in the productive environment.

Right now, we need to use the AD users’ structure and manage both local groups and AD.

Case Manager code is now part of BAW and in BAW we have added new integration with the BAW process engine based on the former IBM BPM offering. For case activities based on BAW processes (not FIleNet processes) you can leverage the full extent of what Owen is referring to above.

Hello, my name is André Camilo (Tech Lead) Hyperautomation

The customer's solution has Case Manager/Navigator and IBM BAW as the process orchestrator. The requested client will create/use local groups to distribute tasks with the respective hierarchies of authors, managers, approved, etc.

It was found that the Case Manager does not have a hierarchy structure equal to the AD "Active Directory" (supervisor, coordinator, manager, vice-president, president, etc.) where the AD hierarchy is used in the rules and distribution of process activities.

Can you please expand on what you are asking for?

BAW has users, groups and teams. And, you can use LDAP groups.

Please explain what you still require.
