OOTB "Open document in a new window" button for File Viewer component

The "File Viewer" component of the Content Management Toolkit does not provide the the out-of-the-box button/option to open the current document in a new window, and this functionality is crucial for the users.

The old/deprecated component "Responsive Document Viewer" has this option.

My suggestion is to add this functionality back into the "File Viewer" component.

Hi Allan. Turns out the link was always there but there was a css (HTML) conflict that was hiding the actual link text. This was fixed in our recent 24.0.0.0 release 2 weeks ago.

Thank you for your idea. One thing to try which actually give you more flexibility as to where the "Open in new..." button/link goes is to use the Link UI View, add it to you page above, below (or whever you want) the Viewer, and configure its link to the to use the URL member from the ECMDocumentInfo you are already mapping into the Viewer and set it to the URL type to display a new browser popup window.
