Task mining - statement of consent to record activities

Statement of consent to record activities

After starting the recorder and (possibly) clicking “start record,” the user is presented with a message expressing consent to record activities on mapped applications. The content of this statement must be editable by an authorized user (e.g., the application owner or administrator) using the administration panel.
The statement should be presented in text format, with the possibility of formatting (e.g., bold, paragraphs). The content of the statement must be stored in a database and downloaded dynamically each time it is displayed. It should be possible to edit the content of the statement from the administration panel, which is only accessible to users with the appropriate permissions. Changes to the content of the statement should be saved and immediately visible to end users.

Implementing this feature would be a very valuable and convenient improvement for us, one that would be appreciated not only by our team but by the entire organization. Currently, we have to handle all the formalities related to recording consents required by our organization using external tools, which is time-consuming and lacks a standardized format. The necessary elements of this improvement are:

    • Recording of consents granted, so that we can determine whether consent was given for a given recording (of course, if consent was not given, the recording cannot take place, but we still need confirmation that consent was granted)

    • The ability for authorized users to manage the content and formatting of the consent form

    • Changes to the content of the consent form should be saved and immediately visible to end users

    • A message requesting consent should be displayed once before the first recording in a new project

    • The user should have two options to choose from: “I consent” and “I do not consent”

This improvement is very valuable and desirable to us.
