IBM Process Mining to enable custom calendar creation

We suggest IBM Process Mining enable users for using custom calendars for intervals calculation. 

For example, there are scenarios where there are certain filters and event identifiers that have different working hours.

For example, in support cases, the "Severity 1 cases" are worked in 24/7 mode while "2,3,4" are worked only business hours days. So, users have the need to remove the weekends in the calculation from 2,3,4s to have a more accurate metric for their use case.

    We would need to discuss more details here: what happens if with business calendar 8.00-18.00, an activity starts at 19.00? Data is not telling us if the user worked extra time or if it simply started that activity and closed the day.

    I would recommend going through a more object-table and custom-metric oriented approach:

    • Add object tables to define what is 24/7, what 9/5, and what else (simple lookup)

    • Create analytics queries that change the computation according to the value of that lookup table.
