We want a way to selectively synchronize only users, ODM role mappings, and Zen API keys between two existing Foundational Services environments.

there is no documented or supported procedure to selectively synchronize only users, ODM role mappings, and Zen API keys between two existing Foundational Services environments.

This is what we need with a DR Environment and a production environment, to quickly sync from one environment to the other and back.

    Hi Gyanendra,

We are using EDB PostgreSQL, not an externally managed PostgreSQL instance.

We have verified this in both our Production and DR CP4BA environments.

    In both environments:

IBM Cloud Pak foundational services version is 4.12.0.

EDB Postgres for Kubernetes version is 1.25.1.

Identity Management uses the embedded common-service-db database (IS_EMBEDDED=true).

Zen uses the embedded zen-metastore-edb database (IS_EMBEDDED_DATABASE=true).

Both PostgreSQL clusters are deployed and managed within their respective OpenShift environments.

Our use case is to selectively synchronize the relevant Foundational Services data between these two already existing and independent Production and DR environments, specifically users, ODM role mappings, and Zen API keys, without performing a full environment/database synchronization.

Please let us know if you need any additional architecture or deployment details.

    Regards,
    Alejandro

    Hi ,
To better understand the deployment, could you please clarify whether you are using EDB PostgreSQL or an externally managed PostgreSQL instance?
