IBM should define a migration path from BAI Standalone to CP4BA

BAI Standalone is intended for clients with e.g. BAW Traditional.

Mid Term, also these clients will consider to move their BAW applications from Traditional to CP4BA. At that time, IBM should be able to propose a path  to consolidate the applications into a CP4BA, combining both Workflow Capabilities with existing BAI to preserve data.

@Guest - Thanks for highlighting it , actually it need to be under review instead of "need more info" . I have sent the request for consideration to the BAI PM @Poornima Sekhar

This idea has been set to "Needs more information" without having asked specific questions or stating which information is missing. I'll add additional context, and please do reach out to me to let me know what else is beneficial.

The requirement is to achieve for BAI what is already possible for Content CR: I can enhance an existing FileNet Content Manager deployment (that started being created through the Content Operator) to a multi-pattern CP4BA. The deployment script will ask me whether there already is a Content deployment (see https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-biz-automation/25.0.0?topic=cpd-option-1-recommended-generating-custom-resource-deployment-script ), and if so, it'll integrate the Content deployment into a Multipattern CP4BA (managed through cp4a-operator).

The same should be achieved with BAI: A BAI Standalone deployment (which started being created through the insights-engine operator) should later be extendable to a multi-pattern CP4BA, bringing the insights-engine operator & resource under coverage of the icp4a-operator. Does this make sense?
