Archival Support for BPMN Process Instances in CP4BA/BAW

Currently, CP4BA/BAW provides an archive system for BPEL (BPC) process instances, snapshots, branches, and tracks, but no equivalent feature exists for BPMN process instances.
Providing a consistent archival mechanism would allow users to move completed or inactive BPMN instances to an archive database or repository instead of deleting them, while still enabling retrieval for audits, compliance checks, or historical reporting.
This enhancement would benefit enterprise who must retain BPMN process data for regulatory, legal, or analytical reasons and who already rely on the platform’s BPEL archival capabilities.
It should work similarly to the BPEL archive: administrators define retention policies and execute archival tasks, and authorized users can later search or restore archived BPMN instances on demand.

    BAW licensing now includes BAI. Process data from BAW can be sent to BAI for reporting and to Process Mining.
