Implement a simple server-to-server single sign on in CP4BA

We have a remote service that uses JWT tokens for authentication, and we need to interact with it while executing a service flow. We need to use the same user that is executing it. We'd like to use the same authorization. We would reuse the JWT token used for authentication in CP4BA.

We thought to retrieve the id_token from the currently logged-in user (who logged in using the OIDC flow). We found the link: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/foundational-services/4.9.0?topic=apis-preparing-run-api-commands, but it doesn’t seem to be an option for us. When a user logs in using the OIDC flow, we expect the JWT token to be stored somewhere in ZEN. We need to be able to read this token to send it elsewhere for authenticating other systems.

This functionality is already available on our tWAS BPM installation, so we hope it can also be implemented in CP4BA.

We understand that the technology in CP4BA is different, but in tBAW it was very simple to get the credential from the security context of the user, and then reuse it for single sign-on from server to server. In CP4BA it seems very complicated doing the same thing, and with a lot of programming effort.
