Request tool for the IBM BAW instances and tasks migration to CP4BA BAW environment

Hi,

Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC has successfully acquired the IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA) platform as part of our continued efforts to modernize and streamline business process automation capabilities.

We are currently undertaking the migration of all active and historical instances and tasks from the existing IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) environment to the newly implemented CP4BA platform. This migration is being carried out using an IBM-supported migration tool that facilitates the accurate and efficient transfer of all associated instance and task data.

The migration ensures the retention of complete historical records, which is critical for audit, compliance, and long-term operational traceability.

Upon the successful completion of the migration process, we plan to initiate an immediate cutover to the CP4BA platform, thereby decommissioning the legacy IBM BAW environment. This approach is designed to guarantee operational continuity, minimize downtime, and uphold data integrity across systems.

We have to move the BPM files as well. Is that being processed from the same source?

Hi Mark, this capability already exists for the move from BAW to CP4BA:

Is there another use case you have to move instances and tasks?
