Hi Scott,
Thank you for your valuable suggestion regarding the integration of SailPoint with CP4BA to enhance centralized access management and support "Zero Trust" security best practices. We appreciate your proactive approach to security and understand the potential benefits such an integration could offer.
At present, CP4BA already leverages a robust Common Services component( bundled for all IBM cloud paks) , which includes identity and access management capabilities designed to align with modern security standards & Zero Trust-aligned architecture. This component is continuously evolving to meet the needs of our customers, providing secure and centralized management of CP4BA's bundled products, including FileNet Content Manager, Content Navigator, Business Automation Workflow, and WebSphere.

We currently have a structured roadmap focused on enhancing and optimizing the existing Common Services component, CP4BA’s IAM service integrates with external identity providers (IdPs) such as LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), and OIDC (OpenID Connect), which allows organizations to leverage their existing identity systems .
This would provide a huge value lift by integrating CP4BA with an industry standard IAM product - SailPoint
