Support for Tracability, OpenTelemetry and Instrumentation to be able to use tools like Jaeger,Kiali

There is need for tracing global transaction/request ID that starts with the platform UI and gets propagated to the various layers/components of CP4BA so that one can follow the transaction.

Our clients are using OpenShift Service Mesh ( Istio ) and other tools to trace and monitor requests from Web to the last elements of infrastructure. We are using own components and IBM CP4BA.

At that moment IBM CP4BA does not support any Instrumentation, thus using any tools that support OpenTelemetry Instrumentation fails.
This result in situation that tracing request are not possible, and IBM CP4BA is a black box that terminates tracing.

This becomes standard in enterprise installation, so such support looks like is a must have.

    Are there any alternatives that can be implemented to achieve the same with CP4BA on OpenShift ?

    We are not supporting istio as a solution. We may provide alternative solution in future product roadmap.
