Allow activities to be renamed when created

In the case detail "Activities" tab we can have many activities of the same type and it is then difficult for users to find their way.

It should be possible to rename / customize the label of the activities when they are created to make the list of activities in the case detail more usable.

    Yes. This script is put in the process itself under the activity so it doesn’t matter how it starts

    var activityPropertyNames = new tw.object.listOf.toolkit.TWSYS.String();
    activityPropertyNames[0] = "CmAcmTaskName";
    activityPropertyNames[1] = "BR_ApproverID";

    var activityPropertyValues = new tw.object.listOf.toolkit.TWSYS.String();
    activityPropertyValues[0] = "New Photo!";
    activityPropertyValues[1] = "Pending!";
    tw.system.currentProcessInstance.parentCase.setParentActivityPropertyValues(activityPropertyNames, activityPropertyValues);

    Hi Dave,

    the concerned activities are started automatically when a document is created.

    It is for this scenario that we need a solution to rename the activities to allow users to differentiate them.

    Best regards

    Hello. Are your activities automatic? We do provide the ability to name discretionary activities when the user starts them from the "Add Activity" action. With the CSHS version of this, you can even prefill/lock the ability to change the name that is assigned.
