Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Post your ideas

Start by posting ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,

  1. Post an idea

  2. Upvote ideas that matter most to you

  3. Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea

Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The offering manager team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notifications on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas that cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Please use the following category to raise ideas for these offerings for all environments (traditional on premises, containers, on cloud):

Cp4ba needs a unified portal

Obviously, cp4ba is a solution composed of multiple products (BAW, ECM, ICN, RPA, ODM, UMS, etc.), but from the perspective of customers, they think it is a product. Because it is composed of multiple products, customers have a very poor experience when using it, because almost every product is a login and access page without forming a unified portal. In other words, this will lead to a very high learning cost for users, and customers need to understand the use logic of each product. If a unified portal can be formed and the operation method is the same, the learning cost of users will be greatly reduced. For example, the same search functions of BAW, ICN and ECM (access) are different. Access supports fuzzy search, while ICN does not. Access and ICN support "displayName" search, but not in BAW design. When selling, it is often difficult for customers to accept a large amount of information. They only care about whether they can solve the problems in the business, the price to pay, and the online cost, implementation cost and learning cost. If it is too complex, customers do not have the patience and time to understand the products, which will seriously affect sales.
