Persist data between documents in a batch in Datacap Navigator
We have customized the index screen so when the indexer selects the 'Persist Date' checkbox, the indexing screen remembers the received date and populates the field for each document in the batch.
When the indexer selects the 'Persist Doc Type' checkbox, the indexing screen remembers and populates the Document Class and Document Type values for each document in the batch.
For example, if the user choses 'Applications and Forms' and 'LOAN APPLICATION' as shown in screenshot, and then selects the 'Persist Doc Type' checkbox, when they click 'Complete Index' and it goes to the next document in the batch, those 2 fields will be pre-populated with 'Applications and Forms' and 'LOAN APPLICATION' so the indexer does not need to choose them again. The datacap fields for the doc class and doc type value are also set. Since we wanted choice lists, the datacap fields are hidden and populated from these choice list fields.
It does not remember these values in between batches.
Do not place IBM confidential, company confidential, or personal information into any field.
