CURRENT FUNCTIONALITY:
The customer wants to print signed documents in the ICN environment. This results in an error message when printing some documents.
There is an open APAR for this:
IO29232: WHEN TRYING TO PRINT A SIGNED PDF, THE PROCESS ENDS WITH "ERROR:PRINT ABORTED"

NOTES:
IBM Development have thus far been unable to fix this limitation. The following is a quote from the Collaboration (https://servrtc.rtp.raleigh.ibm.com:10100/ccm/web/projects/ServDB#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=133488)
"we have been trying multiple options to fix this issue within Daeja code, but unfortunately none of the options worked. We also tried to change our current package structure to include bouncy castle jars, but we lose its certificate when we tried to do that. We also observed that this particular PDF Document is different than the other signed encrypted PDF Documents as it has a password security implicitly although it does not prompt for opening the PDF.
In fact, we had documented about this limitation long back as part of 5.0.6 release notes.
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/ibm-daeja-viewone-506-release-notes - In section ER178608 Support for password protected PDF documents.
The only option we have is to use the work around we suggested before, i.e copying the bouncy castle jars directly to the java security."
However, that workaround is N/A for Containerised environments.
