This is an IBM Automation portal for Digital Business Automation products. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

To be clear, we have already achieved full SSO with IBM Content Navigator (Navigator) communicating with Entra ID. Since Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) has no other integration mechanism, it accepts communication only from configured Trusted Hosts. The remaining issue is the network identity of Navigator when communicating with CMOD. CMOD Trusted Hosts does not support FQDNs and requires IP addresses. Therefore, we need a stable source IP for traffic originating from Navigator in OpenShift. In the current Kubernetes/OpenShift deployment, Navigator does not guarantee a stable source IP. Navigator runs as a Pod, which can be rescheduled to another worker node, and the source IP observed by CMOD may therefore change. The Navigator Operator currently does not provide a mechanism to guarantee a static source IP or otherwise ensure a stable network identity for outbound communication. Please provide or document the IBM-supported mechanism for IBM Content Navigator deployed on Kubernetes/OpenShift to guarantee a stable source IP for outbound communication with Content Manager OnDemand. CMOD Trusted Hosts requires IP addresses and does not support FQDNs, while Navigator does not guarantee a static Pod or Node IP. We therefore need a supported mechanism that ensures Navigator traffic is consistently presented to CMOD from a stable source IP, independently of Pod rescheduling or worker-node changes.
