RELATED IDEAS

Return load error details through CMOD REST API calls

Right now, when a file fails to load to OnDemand through the CMOD REST client, it returns a generic error message in the "status" field: 

Failed: Failed to commit Load. Please consult the System Log for additional information.
RC = 2096
Message = The server failed while storing a document

It would be very helpful to provide our consumers with the actual error message that is generated in the System Log message. For example: 

Row 1:  The string "20025-02-01" could not be converted to a date from the format of %Y-%m-%d
or
Row 1:  The string "1234567890" has a length of 10 and the field has a maximum length of 9

This would allow our OnDemand users actionable and immediate feedback, rather than having to investigate the issue separately after the failed call.
