ARSDOC QUERY to provide mapped values

When running ARSDOC QUERY to extract data from CMOD the option to pull out the mapped values as displayed on the client.   We have a use case where we want to get the mapped values and not the database values.   Using CMOD REST is not the best tool for doing massive bulk extracts, using ARSDOC QUERY would be the best solution.

Not really, they requirement is to extract millions of rows. As mentioned in the original post, CMOD REST does not seam like the best tool for extracting large volumes. Are you suggesting the CMOD REST is designed and capable of bulk data extraction?

    Hello Jayem,

Thank you for the additional clarification.

A recommendation from the CMOD Chief Architect is to create a REST application or ODWEK application to output the required information. The ARSDOC command was not designed for the purpose you have described.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Neil,

The purpose of the request is to extract the index values the users see when using the client. The data extracted that has been mapped is not useful without the mapping. The application team using the data does not have access to the admin client and need to rely on the admin team to provide all mappings. This is also manual when it should be a dynamic option at run time of ARSDOC QUERY.

    Thanks

    Hello Jayem,

Is the overall solution focused on just the meta data?

Or the meta data and the physical data (content)?

Perhaps you can provide some additional use case information.
