We are migrating our on-prem, Websphere ND and stand-alone Linux (RHEL) environment to Openshift (OCP).
We have migrated the following applications to OCP:
- CPE
- ICN
- CMIS
- TaskManager
- IER
- CSS
We DID deploy ICCSAP on an OCP container until we read this:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ccfsa/4.0.0?topic=capabilities-known-issues-limitations-in-containers
Support for external applications: A functionality that uses the csclient.dll API to communicate with external applications is currently not supported. For example, IBM Datacap cannot be connected to Content Collector for SAP Applications using the csclient.dll.
Therefore, we cannot have ICCSAP on an OCP container.
However, as you can read in the last few statements from support from the aforementioned ticket, IBM does NOT currently support, nor has currently tested, ICCSAP on stand-alone/on-prem RHEL communicating with CPE/ICN on OCP:

Hello Robert,
"Dev team will test this but not exactly the timeframe. Will let you once the test has done."
"As said, there is no plan for supporting this as of now. This is documented as non-supported so if there is any customer request regarding this it has to go through product management since this would be an Enhancement request."
So this ENHANCEMENT request is to support ICCSAP on stand-alone/on-prem RHEL communicating with CPE/ICN on OCP.
